This is a summary of the neurosurgery outpatient waiting lists for Ireland as per the National Treatment Purchase Fund website, see link below.

The highlights of the above are as follows:
- An increase of 5615 (126%) since December 2020.
- The list had actually reduced by 285 (6%) between 2017 and 2020.
- It is all driven by NEW cases as the number waiting < 6 months has increased by 1829 (87%) to 3939 in August 2023 since December 2020.
- At the current rate of new cases, the waiting list at December 2023 will have increased nearly 200% since 2019.
This massive and unprecedented increase in the neurosurgery outpatient waiting list coincides with the Covid 19 vaccination program rolled out in January 2021, continued on into April 2023 and with the Autumn booster campaign currently being promoted by the HSE, to little effect.
What is neurosurgery and are there links to Covid 19 vaccine damage ?
Neurosurgery is the medical specialty concerned with the surgical treatment of disorders which affect any portion of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system.
Neurosurgery would deal with the following but is not limited to these:
- Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis ie blood clots in the brain.
- Aneurysms ie a bulge in a blood vessel in the brain that can burst and lead to death.
- Transient ischemic attack ie mini stroke.
- Ischemic attack ie stroke, when a blood clot blocks an artery leading to the brain.
- Bell’s Palsy ie facial paralysis on one side of face.
- Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis ie (ADEM) autoimmune disease marked by inflammation of brain and spinal cord. Encephalitis is swelling of the brain.
- Guillain-Barre Syndrome : the immune system attacks the peripheral nervous system leading to loss of function in limbs and paralysis.
- Ramsay Hunt Syndrome : facial weakness/paralysis with red rash.
- Vaccine induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT).
Professor Josef Finsterer of the Neurology and Neurophysiology Centre, Vienna produced the following research on neurological adverse reactions to Covid 19 vaccines.
As you can see it highlights the ailments above that neurosurgery would deal with.
Actor, Jamie Foxx suffered a stroke after he took the Covid 19 vaccine which was required for him to access a film set.

He is in no doubt as to what the symptoms indicate.
Pop star, Justin Bieber and his wife also suffered neurological disorders although it wasn’t confirmed that they had received the Covid 19 vaccine.
His fans needed to have a Covid 19 vax pass to attend concerts on the tour cancelled because of his illness, so we can safely assume that he had to get it.
If they hadn’t received it, you can be sure we would have been told.
So let’s return to the Irish neurosurgery waiting lists again.
We have an increase of 126% in the 2.5 years since January 2021 which coincides with the vaccine rollout, when the list had actually reduced by 6% in the previous 3 years.
I assume that acute neurological emergencies ie clots, strokes, aneurysms etc would be dealt with immediately in hospitals, putting non acute problems on the back burner.
Is a deluge of such acute emergencies causing a backlog of neurosurgery to build up ?
Is it believable that neurological disorders haven’t increased but that a severe loss of neurosurgical staff has led to a more than doubling of the waiting list in 2.5 years ?
The Irish Hospital Consultants Association would seem to confirm how unlikely this is when commenting on waiting lists in general last week: ‘while the number of patients treated or removed from the waiting lists may be above target,“additions to waiting lists in the same period have been much higher than projected”
New additions (< 6 mths) to the waiting list of neurosurgery cases are up 87% in the 2.5 years since the Covid 19 vaccine rollout.
Coincidence ?
In the recent inquest into the death of Joseph McGinty, a 14 year old boy who died a few weeks after receiving the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, the pathologist’s autopsy report states:
“The autopsy findings of brain oedema with encephalitis, bilateral basal consolidation of lungs and generalised lymphadenopathy are consistent with viral infection. Immunologically mediated encephalopathy post covid vaccination, a rare possibility,”
“The proximal cause of death is due to massive brain oedema due to viral encephalitis,”.
I have highlighted the serious neurological findings in the pathologist’s autopsy report and his opinion as to ‘proximal cause of death’ of which encephalitis and ADEM are noted in the adverse reactions to Covid 19 mRNA vaccines above.
The Coroner for Mayo Pat O’Connor ruled out any link between the boy’s vaccination and his death.
A second specialist opinion noted ‘substantive and chronic adrenal damage’ offering Addisonian crisis as ‘a potential explanation for Joseph’s death’.
Addison’s Disease is a slow developing disorder of the adrenal glands which are situated just above the kidneys.
The Inquest report gives the medical cause of death as profound adrenal pathology consistent with Addison’s Disease.
There was no mention of Addisons Disease until after Joseph’s death.
The inquest returned an open verdict.

There is a crisis in ‘neurosurgery’ in Ireland and no one is saying a word.
On the face of it, what we are dealing with is another ‘canary in the mine’ of the Irish Covid 19 vaccination program.
Do the medical profession know why new cases of neurological disorders requiring surgery are presenting in increasing numbers or are they as much in the dark as the rest of us?
There seem to be a lot of dogs not barking in the medical kennels at the moment.
The silence is deafening.
