Worldwide Prayer Initiative

A prayer initiative called Public Rosary invites everyone to pray the Rosary in public, to implore the Mother of Christ to consecrate countries and ask for her intercession. Prayer intentions include help for all citizens, peace and unity, and the end of lockdowns, draconian restrictions and vaccine mandates. Groups gather every Wednesday at 6pm, not only at home or in church, but especially in public places. The Rosary prayer, including hymns, lasts about 30 minutes.

The public recitation of the Rosary will take place every week until the crisis has been resolved and peace and freedom return.

This prayer initiative has been taken up by countless groups in various countries around the world, such as Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Czech Republic, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Uganda, United Kingdom and USA. You can find links to these groups here: https://public-rosary.org/

The initial prayer campaign was inspired by a Rosary campaign launched in Austria after World War II to get rid of the communist presence in that country. Unlike with other Eastern European countries, the communists left Austria in the mid-50’s. Today, Austria is active in praying the Rosary to implore God to end the current tyranny.
